Listen as Dr. Cynthia Bambara, former President at Allegany College of Maryland, who retired in January 2025 after 13 years at the College, reflects on the school's rich history of community engagement, their role in fostering civic and global citizenship, and the value of being a member of the Transform Mid-Atlantic network in advancing student learning and community partnerships.

"Our membership with Transform Mid-Atlantic connects us with like-minded organizations that enhance community engagement and student learning. TMA recognizes higher education's role in civic participation and provides networking and grant opportunities to spearhead new initiatives. With TMA’s support, Allegheny College of Maryland continues its culture of community and civic engagement."
