2027-28 TMA AmeriCorps VISTA Grant Program August 12 Info Session

Transform Mid-Atlantic is currently accepting concept papers from colleges and universities in our service region and their community partners for the 2027-2028 TMA AmeriCorps VISTA Grant Program. This competitive grant supports 3-year capacity building projects focused on anti-poverty community partnerships / development initiatives that address a variety of areas for a fixed term of three years. The intent to apply deadline is Friday, August 21.

TMA supports projects focused on the following areas, but is flexible and open to the unique needs and issues of each campus in our region:

  • Food Insecurity
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • First Generation Student Support / Retention
  • Partnerships with K-12 Schools
  • Environmental Stewardship and Conservation
  • Community and Economic Development
  • Reducing Violence and Conflict
  • Supporting Veterans
  • Any other topic related to address poverty and economic insecurity
