An experienced community engagement practitioner, Kate Foster currently serves as the Senior Director of Trail Development and Equity at Rails to Trails Conservancy (RTC), the nation’s largest biking and walking advocacy organization. In her role at RTC, Kate works to bring more trails to underinvested communities across the United States and to ensure that the process of trail design and development centers community leadership and voice through collaborative and inclusive community engagement practices.
