I have developed these skills through my role in the Muslim Student Association and my involvement in the STEM Scholars Program, where collaboration, organization, and service are central to my academic and community engagement."

WHAT'S A COMMUNITY-BASED ISSUE THAT YOU CARE ABOUT?

"A significant challenge in my community is food insecurity and limited access to nutritious meals for students and local families. This issue affects both immediate well-being and long-term health, creating barriers to learning and productivity. I have contributed by volunteering with my MSA club on campus in the Food Locker and by helping to distribute meals and raise awareness about nutrition. In the future, I hope to use my organizational and leadership skills to develop sustainable programs, such as student-led food networks or educational campaigns, that provide ongoing support while promoting health and resource-conscious practices for current and future generations."
